Yonatan Weisberg has delivered this well-executed performance piece with added dramatic and visual&nbsp;flair for&nbsp;Don Broco&#39;s Nerve, which sees the band performing on a circular platform while cutting back and forth between&nbsp;scenes of tension and destruction.&nbsp;As the camera captures the scene on the circular track, we witness a&nbsp;tree being engulfed by flames, a sculpture crumbling&nbsp;to the ground and a bull trying&nbsp;to free himself from the ropes that hold him captive. Intense stuff.

Yup, that really is a TV in space, for real.&nbsp;Joe Connor has conjured this remarkable video for Kelvin Jones&#39;s heartwarming song Call You Home,&nbsp;by sending a vintage Sony TV&nbsp;into orbit on a special balloon provided by Sent Into Space,&nbsp;surrounded by GoPros so as to capture this spectacular&nbsp;footage of Jones&#39; performance hovering above the Big Blue Marble itself.&nbsp;More precisely, it took two launches - both from Snowdonia in Wales,&nbsp;with two identical TVs, with&nbsp;each launch providing the opportunity to rig the&nbsp;GoPros&nbsp;in different positions.It does, in fact, look so impressive that you may think it&#39;s was done with greenscreen and FX. Not so&nbsp;- as the moment when moulding on one of the TVs flies off, at pretty much the point where the earth ends and space begins, confirms...&nbsp;

Joe Connor has delivered this epic, one-shot performance video for Gabrielle Aplin&#39;s track Sweet Nothing.It sees Gabrielle performing her song in a&nbsp;sequinned bodysuit&nbsp;amongst&nbsp;a&nbsp;troupe of&nbsp;thirty&nbsp;drummers creating a mesmerising patchwork of synchronised&nbsp;movement around her. Then,&nbsp;the drumsets come alive in a lightshow of neon pink and blue, creating a delightful spectacle of colour and energy.&nbsp;Joe puts the whole experience like this: &quot;Most fun day of my life.&quot;

The&nbsp;second instalment in the music video&nbsp;trilogy by Joe Connor for The&nbsp;Maccabees&#39; soon-to-be-released new album, Marks To Prove It &ndash; &nbsp;and following on from the video for&nbsp;<a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2015/04/09/maccabees-marks-prove-it-joe-connor" target="_blank">the album&#39;s title track</a>&nbsp;&ndash; picks up&nbsp;where the last one left off, following the same city-dweller in Elephant and Castle.However the look and atmosphere of Connor&#39;s video for Something Like Happiness is quite different: this usually unlovely part&nbsp;of south London&nbsp;has changed,&nbsp;turning into a&nbsp;beautifully attenuated&nbsp;landscape of brilliant&nbsp;white and subdued blues - the result of using infra-red film.&quot;This shoot was about taking something brutal and domineering and turning it into something soft and beautiful, to look at something seen every day, with new eyes,&quot; says Adam Scarth, the video&#39;s DoP. &quot;Infra-red was the ideal tool for this, it allowed us to see a spectrum of light that we don&rsquo;t usually see.&quot;[imgtoken data:1]

The Maccabees are back after three years, with a third album due out in the summer paired with an&nbsp;exciting music video trilogy by Joe Connor.This first video,&nbsp;for the recently unveiled single&nbsp;Marks To Prove it,&nbsp;is part-documentation of the Elephant and Castle area through time-lapse footage, part-surreal narrative, with cutaways to the band in their rehearsal-space formation.The video follows a suited city-dweller on an average London commute, through satisfyingly high-energy time&nbsp;lapse footage. Suddenly the&nbsp;documentatary-style&nbsp;video turns into something else altogether, as the man walks into a puddle and falls into a parallel universe.&nbsp;&quot;The album has eventually found itself with a specific set of musical and lyrical themes,&quot; explains Maccabees guitarist&nbsp;Felix White, &quot;And though our original brief was pretty loose, we knew that we wanted to explore place, particularly Elephant &amp; Castle, where our studio is based, and the idea that there are a variety of things in everyday life that we learn to accept as natural rhythm but are in fact either disconcerting or odd or beautiful or surreal.&quot;There was also innovation in the way the video was shot - as Joe Connor explains below - to offer a new perspective on city life. And Joe was able to engage the services of the Modfather himself for this one. It's a classic black and white performance of the band and their special guest, enhanced with simple yet effective ink-in-water VFX.

"The Moons, Weller, ink... it's a pretty good combination to be able to shoot," says Joe. "The Moons are good mates and it's always an absolute pleasure to do stuff for them, especially when they mentioned the next video would contain Mr Paul Weller himself, who so kindly gave his time on a sunny day to come down and do this video. 

"We wanted to do something that had an old school James Bond feel, just keeping it really simple and graphic. It really wouldn't have happened without the lovely people at Pro Vision studios, Spring Lighting, Panavision or Ian and Andy from Chief who practically lived at the computer while we finished it off and who are still seeing ink in their sleep..."
