A man confronts a female representation of Death in the video for Electric Litany, directed by&nbsp;Sakari Lerkkanen.This is the first music video to be released by the London based group,&nbsp;who have&nbsp;previously headlined Europe’s most acclaimed festivals and collaborated with the names such as Interpol, Archive and Alan Parsons. An artistic performance piece focusing solely on the two characters, we follow the man on his journey of accepting his demise and his faith, while the world around him pulsates between light and darkness.The female representation of Death is inspired.&nbsp;Lerkkanen explains "Each one of us is brought into this world by a woman, which is why it makes sense that our departure would be with a woman as well."With a beautiful colour palette of dark blues and golds, and dramatic backlit lighting, the visuals are cinematic and carefully composed, utilising strong lines and shapes to frame the actors.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Steve Barron, music video legend, director of Michael Jackson&#39;s Billie Jean, A-Ha&#39;s Take On Me&nbsp;and many more, makes a surprise return to his old stamping ground with this low budget video for Field Trip To The Moon, the project of London-based singer/songwriter and actress Angela Christofilou and&nbsp;Dan Cross.The video for You is a&nbsp;dreamlike narrative in atmospheric black and white, as Christofilou flees the prospect of public performance and then confronted by&nbsp;more aggressive alter-ego, before she&#39;s able to address&nbsp;her fears. A low-key, but very welcome return nonetheless, by an old master.&nbsp;

Improvisational&nbsp;jazz, spoken word and 16mm film come together to create a poignant visual treatment exploring racial prejudice for&nbsp;Elslatto, Thorne and The Repeat Beat Poet&#39;s track Into The Woods, directed by&nbsp;Laurie Bridger.&nbsp;We follow two thrill-seeking lovers as they venture into the woods to play an adult-themed&nbsp;game of Cops and Robbers, sexually loaded along racial lines.&nbsp;But what begins as a couple&#39;s harmless game turns into a tragic scene&nbsp;mired in racism, bigotry&nbsp;and&nbsp;hate-driven violence.It&#39;s a familiar story told in an old-fashioned way, reflecting&nbsp;the time that has&nbsp;passed while issues of race-relations still endure,&nbsp;with hundreds of - often unarmed - black people&nbsp;killed every year in countries like America where racism persists.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The latest Pixies release Magdelena is accompanied by a weird and wonderful video by Judy Jacob, who is best known for designing&nbsp;stage visuals for the tours and TV appearances of artists including Queens of the Stone Age, Stone Roses - and the Pixies.It was from her preference to shoot visuals and textures through a lens rather than digitally which led her to collaborate with London performance artists - including Nando Messias, who plays the titular lead&nbsp;character in the Magdelena video, experiencing visceral encounters in the underpasses and tunnels of London, and some other surreal sensory pleasures...&nbsp;Judy says:&nbsp;&quot;Magdalena runs late for a job interview with Jesus, knowing seven devils must be dealt with before she arrives&hellip;&quot;
