Sophie Muller directs a haunting promo in reverse for regular collaborator Birdy.&nbsp;Following the stripped-back seaside vision for Surrender back in January, the video for Loneliness encompasses the same vulnerability and wistful performance style, with a more conceptual and experimental aesthetic.&nbsp;With cinematography by Robbie Ryan and art direction from Alison Dominitz, Muller&nbsp;mixes contemporary, dilapidated locations with vintage patterns and materials, giving the project a universal and timeless feel. The desaturated colour palettes elevate the melancholic atmosphere, and are reminiscent of their previous collaborations, and one of the director's most iconic visuals, Nelly Furtado's Try.&nbsp;The use of reverse footage adds another layer of surreality to the promo, representing the themes of loss and loneliness, and the feeling that things aren't quite what they seem.&nbsp;

MØ takes to life on the ocean wave, with Diplo and&nbsp;other pals, in David M Helman&#39;s video for Sun In Our Eyes.&nbsp;Helman&#39;s video&nbsp;takes a romantic idea - a group of friends sailing away to create their own perfect world on distant shores - and then grounds it in a more realistic dramatic setting, with the group being transported&nbsp;on a distinctly unromantic, working trawler.&nbsp;But there is also a sense of serenity, and the setting entirely suited to&nbsp;MØ&#39;s unfussy&nbsp;personality.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Sun In Our Eyes&nbsp;is a love song - it circles the subject of being unwilling to accept the truth,&quot; she says. &quot;You wanna keep riding the high even though you deep down know it might be wrong and that it&rsquo;s all a self-made illusion. This theme is what the video is inspired by, and it is also one of the subjects my forthcoming album Forever Neverland is dealing with.&quot;

A beautiful and brilliant video for Florence + The Machine by Autumn de Wilde.This captures the passion and power​ of Florence Welch,&nbsp;in a dance choreographed by acclaimed dancer and choreographer Akram Khan and Florence herself, performed by a wonderful group of dancers with with the singer in a breathtaking combination of colour, darkness and water.&nbsp;As a piece which is both excquisite to look at, and also hugely emotional, it must rank&nbsp;as one of the best Florence + The Machine videos ever.

J.A.C.K have made a very enigmatic video for MØ&#39;s&nbsp;When I Was Young. In so doing, the French directing duo have captured&nbsp;the Danish popster&#39;s&nbsp;distinctive charisma in a way not previously achieved in her videos.In a deserted village, a solitary MØ is joined by two other versions of herself, one in white the other in black&nbsp;- the latter accompanied by a group of skeleton-clad ghouls. With a combination of artful choreography and visual effects, the original&nbsp;MØ allies with one of her duplicates to battle the other, and her ghouls.&nbsp;MØ has revealed that the inspiration for the video came from Edvard Munch, the Norwegian artist best known for The Scream.&nbsp;&ldquo;I&rsquo;m so happy to present this video because it feels very true to the song and to who I am,&rdquo; she says. &quot;It was inspired by a painting called The Dance Of Life [by Munch]...&nbsp;It&rsquo;s an illustration of three women &ndash; one in white, one in red and one in black &ndash; and tells a story about three stages of human life: youth, maturity, and old age.&quot;I was always drawn to this image as a kid due to its simple symbolism and emotion and have been dying to do a video that could reflect on it. Since When I Was Young is all about nostalgia and reflecting on life &ndash;especially the past, but also the now and the future &ndash; it just seemed like the perfect time to do it.
