There’s just one day left until the entry deadline for the UK Music Video Awards 2014. It's tomorrow (August 12th) at midnight (BST).

And for the first time, entries are being accepted to the prestigious Individual Awards at the UKMVAs - including one brand new Individual Award. The awards are:

Best Director

Best New Director

Best Producer

Best Commissioner

Best Artist

In each case the award is given for a body of work over the past year, from August 1st 2013 to July 31st 2014, and for each individual or group who are submitted for an Individual Award, weblinks to three or more of their works has to be entered with the submission.

More information about the categories can be found at the UKMVA 2014 website, and you can enter an individual or group (in the case of a directing team, or music act) by clicking the 'enter individual' button on the entry page of the UKMVA website

The awards for best director, new director, producer and commissioner have always been important awards at the UKMVAs, but with the introduction of the Best Artist award, the MVAs will be honouring the body of work over the past year of music acts - bands, and solo artists - for the first time. This award is open to music artists from any genre of music, but as with the other Individual awards, no less than three videos from the past 12 months have to be entered as part of the Best Artist submission.

The deadline for entries is tomorrow on Tuesday, August 12th at midnight (BST). The first round of judging for the awards will begin in a couple of weeks, with hundreds of music video professionals being invited to vote as MVA Jury Members.

Also look out for news of tickets going on sale for the UK Music Video Awards 2014 at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre in London on November 10th.
