Entry deadline for the UK Music Video Awards 2014 is now just two weeks away, on Wednesday, August 6th. And more awards open to entry at the UKMVAs than ever before.

Once again the UK Music Video Awards – the premier awards show celebrating the best work in music videos from the UK and around the world – is accepting entries to a wide range of awards recognising the best work in music videos and technical excellence. In addition, for the first time at the MVAs, the Individual award categories – Best Director, Best Producer, Best New Director, Best Commissioner and the brand new award Best Video Artist - are also open for entry.

As in previous years there are honours for best British, International and Budget video in each music genre: Pop, Dance, Urban, Indie/Rock, and Alternative. There are also eight awards recognising technical achievement, plus honours for best interactive video (a new award), live coverage and music ad.

The UK Music Video Awards 2014 website is now accepting entries for the following honours:

All entered work must have been completed and delivered to its commissioner between August 1st 2013 and July 31st 2014 – so work completed and approved in the next few days up to and including July 31st will be eligible for this year’s MVAs, but not after that date.

Following the submission deadline, judging will begin for this year’s UK Music Video Awards next month, with invited MVA Jury Members judging all the entries via the MVAs online voting platform in the first round of judging.

A second round of judging will follow in September where jury panels will meet to judge shortlisted work. Nominations for the UK Music Video Awards 2014 will be announced in October.

The 2014 UK Music Video Awards ceremony itself will take place at the Southbank Centre on Monday, November 10th.
