Dua Lipa coolly assesses a small army of suitors in Vincent Haycock's dizzying blockbuster for Training Season. The video sees the artist sitting in a café, attracting the avid attention of numerous males, who pile up against the window outside to get a glimpse of her, and occupy every other table. As their stares linger, the whole environment starts to shift, until the men get caught in a whirlwind orbit - much to Dua's amusement. It's the kind of big-budget spectacle we've come to expect from Dua Lipa, with cinematography by Rina Yang, seamless visual effects, a cast of dozens, choreography by Charm La'Donna (for Dua) and Ryan Heffington (for the cast) - and an utterly compelling performance at its core.

Ferina directs an attention-grabbing promo for Yvnnis, with a mash-up of clever in-camera and post techniques.The video for Gare Du Nord presents an electric montage of performance setups across the eponymous Parisian district, chopped together with textural overlays and visual effect trickery. Ferina even matches to include a model railway version of GDN, and a tiny model Yvnnis, to play with viewer's perceptions."We wanted the video to feel like the area, being extremely lively, urban and much of a creative environment - the videos stands in this lane," explains Ferina. Consequently the video feels contemporary and raw, and complements the lively sound production in a gritty yet elevated way.

KSI takes on himself in an explosive boxing match, in Troy Roscoe's slick and entertaining VFX-fired promo for Not Over Yet, featuring Tom Grennan. The first half of the video explores the preparation for the match, presenting slick vignettes where giant hailstones fall from the sky, and KSI plunges into a futuristic looking ice bath, training underwater - referencing an iconic photo of Muhammed Ali. When things get going inside the ring, things take a huge step up, boasting a true feat of careful pre-production and VFX based around a motion control shoot. So it's not so surprising that this is No.1 on YouTube's UK Music Video chart right now. "(This is) most definitely one of my most favourite shoots and videos to date!" says Troy Roscoe. "So much went into this. From pre-production to final delivery it was a meticulous process, as there were so many things that could go wrong. I knew we had our work cut out. "Usually you find yourself in a position where people have experience in how to pull these things off. But none of us had seen anything like it, as it’s very hard to make a clone come into contact with one another through VFX. Usually you would use deep fakes, but we went for an organic approach so that it looks as real as possible. And it’s safe to say we pulled it off!"The concept is beautiful, as the root of it is something everybody can relate to, focussed on the fact that the only competition you actually have is [with] yourself. The fact that each day you should aim to be better than you were yesterday - and in this visual we provide an embodiment of that as KSI knocks the living daylight out of the old version of himself."It's a video I will be proud of forever, and will go down in my own personal history book!"
