Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter co-direct the intimate, docu-style promo for Miley's latest release, Jaded. The video continues in the same vein as the other releases from Miley's latest album - Flowers and River - by placing the artist in simple, clean vignettes and allowing her personality and star power to shine through. Whether at home, in the pool or rolling around in bed - with scenes reminscent of 2013's Adore You - Miley is front and centre, showcasing a newfound confidence and sense of peace, and the filmmakers use this as the focus of the video, without any the need for any extraneous scenes or narrative.

Jack Lightfoot directs an affecting live promo for Sam Tompkins. Following the brilliant live video for Lose It All in October last year, this video boasts a breathtaking location and a pared-back, intimate performance."We wanted to create a really simple, classy look for this live session - standing it apart from the grittier look we had on our previous live session together," says Lightfoot."So we selected a classic setting with lots of wooden furnishings and antique features and really took advantage of the natural daylight beaming in through the windows. Once again we rolled out a one-shot take, and as always, Sam nailed the vocal to bring it all together."

Jim Wilmot has directed three live performance promos for The 1975 for VEVO, all shot by DoP Rick Joaquim, including for Part Of The Band.Filmed in a studio space, we see the group atop a sand-drenched stage, backdropped by vibrant cloud landscapes. Joaquim imbues the video with a classic, cinematic aesthetic, bringing out the rich textures in the art direction and highlighting the drama of the performance. Matching the melancholic themes of the track, the cinematography is intentional and intimate, letting the performance unfold in a natural, organic way. The other promos in this series for VEVO Originals are for Oh Caroline and Looking For Somebody To Love.

Alex J Corona directs a sunsoaked promo for Poté featuring INFAMOUSIZAK.Out in a forest, we see the artists perform amongst a series of natural backdrops, whilst a flair of abstract art direction lends a surreal edge to the visual. Oversized plants, a car adorned in overgrown flora and mixed materials elevate the ethereal vibe of the track, whilst the understated performances anchor the concept in a dreamy world of its own.

Batu self-directs the atmospheric and sultry promo for Solace. Featuring a captivating performance from dancer Rosalie Pearce Bell, the video jumps between a neon-lit world and a natural forest environment, exploring the contrast between the solitary worlds. The haunting soundscapes are perfectly complemented by off-kilter camerawork and vivid primary colour lighting, and the hypnotic editing elevates the surreal vibes.
