Taking charge of operating as well as directing, Locke's fluid camerawork effortlessly connects several distinctive vignettes, aided by whip-pan transitions cut together by frequent collaborator Jamil Shaukat.Performance is the focus here, bouncing back and forth between two faux live setups, before heading to the recording studio and letting the energy run wild. It has the classic signs of a KC Locke visual, with a more stripped-back, intimate feel than some of his bigger projects.
