Ben Galster's gripping one-shot promo for Marie Bothmer throws us to the heart of a traumatic moment for three friends. In the video for Kugelsicher, a girl, played by Romina Küper, removes a balaclava, staring into the void as she tries to come to terms with something really bad that has just happened. She is with her boyfriend and another boy, badly bleeding in the back of their car - while Bothmer performs in the car, invisible to the other characters. A wonderfully abstract and hard-hitting concept, executed to perfection by Galster, with just the right mix of performance and enigmatic narrative.
