Luigi Sibona directs an ambitious new take on the religious horror genre for Manchester hardcore band Guilt Trip's new EP God Forgives, featuring a priest who opens the doors to unspeakable evil. Featuring the tracks Dirt and Angel Eyes from the EP, it begins with the priest (David Whiting) preaching to his dwindling congregation. After the service, his loyal assistant (Lizzie Lomas) notices him holding an ancient book. When the band kick in with the first track, the priest is incanting the text from the tome... and then all Hell breaks loose. With the combination of rousing performance and cinematic action, the video moves at breakneck speed to an inevitable, nerve-shredding confrontation between Good and Evil within the church. It's an impressive climax in a great location, confidently directed by Sibona, highlighting the excellent performance by Lomas in the 'final girl' role.
