Khalique 'Concrete' by George Moore Chadwick

George Moore Chadwick creates an increasingly disturbing live action videogame for khlaique - the artist formerly known as Joe Khalique Brown.
In the Concrete video, the artist is the gown-wearing character in the game, walking through the deserted (and appropriately concrete-clad) walkways of the Southbank Centre in London, looking for the exit - a 'mental health'Â counter clocking down in the corner.
Moore Chadwick uses a clever camera rig to capture the khalique's character moving through the game environment - which is being played by 'IRL' khalique. He's having a few mental health issues of his own - and then he plays the against his own alter-ego. And that's when things start to get really nasty.Â
"We got gamified mental health before GTA VI," says Moore Chadwick. Following his previous videos for Junkspace and Strangelove it confirms that the artist and director are on an interesting, upward trajectory.
