Masked country singer Orville Peck welcomes us back into his wonderful world in a new collaboration with director Austin Peters.

In the video for Too Little, Too Late - the first single from the new album Mule - we find Orville Peck in the back bedroom of a workshop where buff guys tinker under car engine hoods. He emerges to engage with the guys, perform the song with a conveniently-situated band - and talk to a horse.

As in previous videos, like Queen Of The Rodeo, Austin Peters captures that sense of Peck testing the boundaries of a musical genre renowned for its conservatism with humour, grace and a sprinkling of the absurd.

And ultimately, as in his previous Peck videos, the director makes the most of the man of mystery's anonymity. Another enjoyable and distinctive work, showing that there's nobody quite like Orville Peck.
