Alt-rock provocateurs TV Priest are back with their first music in over four years, the powerful new single The Mud Never Dries. And the accompanying video by Charlie & Charlie gives full reign to the track by keeping things simple.

Frontman Charlie Drinkwater is alone in an deserted office space, with mic and speaker - a charmismatic but shadowy presence captured in subdued natural light and silhouette. The minimal set-up, and kinetic editing, works really well in service to a track that's packed with ideas, sonically and lyrically. 

For what is essentially a homemade video by Drinkwater and his creative partner Charles Gall - they shot and editing this - really effective as a showcase for the music and a taster for what is to come - the new album Cartoons is out later this year.
