Mai Hua directs a meditative promo for British-Bahraini trumpeter Yazz Ahmed. 

The video for Forest Bathing 森林浴 is simple but evocative, focusing on lingering shots of trees and nature, highlighting the ecosystem and the transcendent qualities of the space. 

Working as a visual backdrop to the calming soundtrack, it's a lovely way to pause, reflect and enjoy something slower and more deliberate. 

“Forest Bathing 森林浴 is a meditative piece, an improvisation reflecting on my reconnection with nature and named after the Japanese tradition of shinrin-yoku,” explains Ahmed.

“Spending time in the forests close to where I live, I have been able to calm my mind, take a long deep breath, pause, and drink in the beauty that nature gifts to us. I hope that this music will transport you to a place of relaxation and inner peace.”
