To celebrate the 40th anniversary of a landmark hip hop album - LL Cool J's debut album Radio - Gregory Brunkalla has directed a new video for its groundbreaking lead-off single.

Brunkalla brings back early hip hop style to the streets of New York City, with cast of young New Yorkers lipsyncing to the track that made LL Cool J one of hip hop's earliest stars: Rock The Bells.

Filmed in the classic style, in black and white, all over the City, it thrusts the youthful enthusiasm of mid-80s hip hop into the modern age through the refreshing and feisty performances of an appealing cast. It's a marvellous homage to the music, to LL Cool J, to New York.

And apparently there had never been a music video produced for Rock The Bells... until now.
