From what's been released so far, signs are that the third Flyte album, released next month, is going to be very good indeed.

The song Tough Love, featuring Laura Marling on vocals with Flyte's Will Taylor and playlisted on 6Music, now has an accompanying live video, courtesy of Mahogany Sessions, with none other than actress Florence Pugh accompanying Taylor in place of the absent Marling, who is not currently doing any public performances.

And second single Speech Bubble has a music video co-directed by Taylor and Katie Silvester, with a simple but strong device to reflect the unusual lullaby-like structure of the song: Taylor performs each of its six verses in a different locations in East London (including Hackney Marshes).

It's a concept which requires the Flyte frontman to be front and centre throughout, and he rises to the challenge, in spite of some challenging weather conditions. Filmed on a 16mm Bolex, it's lo-fi texture also works well with the acoustic track. 

Now the latest song from the new album, called Amy, has been released. It's another belter, so hopefully there's a belting video for that coming down the line.
