Jak Payne directs a jolting and haunting promo for Polish-born, UK-based electronic artist VTSS. 

Taking inspiration from directors Julia Ducournau and David Cronenberg, the unsettling visuals centre around a studio performance, where the artist creeps and scuttles around an abstract space, and becomes entangled in mesmerising shibari. 

Utilising AR and video effects to distort the artist's face in the closeup setups,  the film reflects on the applications of new technologies and their increasing influence on self-perception.
