Francois Rousselet and the VFX/animation team at Electric Theatre Collective set the creative benchmark for the year with the brilliant video for Pharrell's team-up with 21 Savage and Tyler the Creator.

It's a technically state-of-the-art take on one of the earliest cinematic devices - the zeotrope. And Rousselet has devised his promo as a similar type of machine - endlessly rotating, revealing delights within - but with endless possibilities.

This is due to the remarkable way its been made, the incredible attention to detail: endless layers and stories appear within this magnificent rotating construction, and breaking all rules of physicality as its been created in CG.
