Meeks & Frost channel old school R&B vibes in their video for Alana Maria's Happier.Â
Best known for their multi-format videos for the likes of SL and PAÂ Salieu, the director duo confidently move into nostalgic territory with Maria's debut visual.Â
Complete with crossfades and plenty of casual Dutch angles, the 90's aesthetic comes through thick and fast, paying homage to the golden era of R&B videos.Â
DoPÂ Rik Burnell's close attention to camera movement and composition, and the inclusion of posed close-up shots with super soft lighting, stays true to tradition and the iconography of the period.Â
