Hinds 'Just Like Kids' by Keane Pearce Shaw
Keane Pearce Shaw directs a vibrant performance video for Hinds' Just Like Kids.
Shot across three 'box room' sets, the focus is placed on high-energy performance, unabashed attitude and striking art direction.
Quirky and offbeat, the eclectic visual mirrors the themes of the track perfectly.
KEANE PEARCE SHAW:
They have taken constant shit for being girls in a band... it was Game On.
"In my view, HINDS wrote some of their most direct and powerful lyrics on the track Just Like Kids. When we first starting talking about ideas for the video, it was important for these lyrics to be complemented within the video, but not overdone.
"Along the way, the band have taken constant shit for being girls in a band. So when they allowed me to take the piss out of haters with tongue-in-cheek cutaways and performances, it was Game On.
"The small crew absolutely smashed it creating three Andalucian-inspired sets and three wardrobe changes in such a short day. We also got leftover prop Spanish Tortilla which was a double win."
