Thom Yorke 'Last I Heard (…He Was Circling The Drain)' by Art Camp and Saad Moosajee
How to follow the tour de force that was Anima? Thom Yorke has turned to Art Camp and Saad Moosijee to create something of the same atmosphere and aesthetic established in Paul Thomas Anderson's epic, but constructed in animation.
And by animation we mean a combination of 3D, cel animation, rotoscoping of live action, in order to create this world of beautifully realised individual figures hustling through a crowded mid-century metropolis, of flying cars, children jumping into fire, a visiting astronaut from the future... It's haunting - and more disturbing than Anima.
