Friendly Fires 'Silhouettes' by Tom Dream, just signed to Black Dog Films
Tom Dream takes Friendly Fires back to the golden age of TV pop performance in the video for Silhouettes - his first since becoming the newest addition to the UK roster at Black Dog Films.
Inspired by the Italian interval Eurovision performance in 1978, the video sees Tom take the band back to a time of disco choreography, silk shirts, and well-heeled boots - and arrives ahead of the group’s third LP, Inflorescent.
It's the latest in a run of music videos, for Art School Girlfriend, LYRA, and most recently LANY feat Julia Michaels, that has brought Tom Dream increasing attention as an up and coming director in UK music videos. He is currenlty workin on his first short film. Other recent projects include working as a documentary DOP for Julien Temple, and shooting Black Sabbath’s final tour ‘The End of The End’.
