Designed around singer-songwriter Azekel's album Our Father, Dumas Haddad's impressionistic film expands on the underlying themes the album touches, interrogating and challenges stereotypes surrounding the role of the black father in modern society.

The film, beautifully photographed by Olan Collardy, is underscored by a mix of sound-beds from the album, features Azekel as the lead, and accompanied by the rich tones of artist and poet Sophia Thakur. Thakur’s voice is heard on the film itself – highlighting a mother’s perspective of the battle that she sees these "superheroes" going through.
