Chaouche 'Progression' by Kristen Griffin
Director/DoP Kristen Griffin's video for Chaouche's song Progression channels inspirations of Ophelia, Kate Bush, and Studio Ghibli - an atmospheric gothic fantasy that was filmed around the ancient Leigh Woods just outside Bristol in the depths of winter.
"We loved the track, and like all the best videos we admire, we wanted to create some memorable moments for it - impactful images that enhance the music and really stay with people. It was good fun conceptualising a creative and ambitious storyboard, and to be challenged with some tricky technical VFX shots to bring the song’s strong ideas to life. Aisha ran bare foot through the woods and waded into freezing cold water - It was great to work with such a talented and committed artist!"
