Kery James 'Sans Moi' by James F. Coton
Two protagonists face a huge challenge under the desert sun: a free and courageous horse and a young gold prospector, consumed by his quest, in James F. Coton's video for Kery James.
The video mesmierises with its stunning shots of the lone pair travelling through the desert, beautifully silhouetted against the natural landscapes of rocks and sky. But the hypnotic 'frame within frame' edits throughout cage the prospector, symbolizing the consequences of the sole obsession of finding gold.
This is a first collaboration with the director Coton and Berlinian cinematographer Maximilian Pittner, and they have made a video for the song Sans Moi to match the intensity of music and text.
