Say Lou Lou 'Immortelle' by Philippe Tempelman
Promo News - 5th Dec 2018
Philippe Tempelman wonderfully stylish and evocative film showcasing Say Lou Lou's second album Immortelle creates a mysterious and dangerously alluring world around the Kilbey sisters, Elektra and Miranda, as they explore the close kinship as they have as twins, and also the possibilities of immortality.
With hints of Kubrick, Tempelman offers of scrapbook of gorgeous imagery, moments of drama and voice-over (by the Kilbeys, actress Naomi Rapace, and others), political statements and ideas - and four songs from the album. It's beautifully shot by Nicolas Karakatsanis.
An audio-visual manifesto for Say Lou Lou and their alt-dream pop.
