Meg Myers makes a big impression in Clara Aronovich's video for Jealous Sea for behaving precisely unlike most pop stars - she is tense as a coiled spring, aggressive, disturbed and disturbing... a figure prowling bars and streets on her own, consumed by that emotion that, as she sings, comes in waves, so she cannot breathe.

It's a powerful performance of barely restrained anger that frames her edgy, psycho-pop, so it gets under your skin. And it ends with a paranormal consumption in purple light.
