Sons Of Raphael 'A Nation Of Bloodsuckers' by Loral Raphael
Brothers Loral and Ronnel Raphael – aka Sons of Raphael – deliver a fully-fledged modern epic in the shape of new single A Nation of Bloodsuckers. The video, directed by Loral with cinematography by Manuel Alberto Claro (Melancholia, Nymphomaniac), invites us to inhabit multiple-overwhelming realities.
“Here is a refusal to see violence and tenderness as binary, but painfully and tightly interwoven - just like the God we worship who could be both a warrior as well as a nurturing mother," explain the brothers Raphael. "Exploring the paradox of human faith, Sons of Raphael give us an unusual invitation to break out of false self-hood, with a yearning for authenticity."
