In the remote Westfords in Iceland, Hawk Björgvinsson has created an absorbing, strange tale for local teenage duo Between Mountains. A secret torchlight ritual between local villagers leads to an extraordinary phenomenon - individuals acquire a human shadow who echo their every move.
Starting with the tethering between Between Mountains singer Katla and her older male 'shadow', Björgvinsson explores the idea through a series of visual jokes as we see the whole village that lives in this strange fashion. Then he goes this further, exploring these shadow characters, and it gets darker...
