Matthew Sterling's video for Shaelone captures a dancer's performance in a variety of locations and on three different formats - Super 16mm, 8mm and VHS-C.

Sterling describes it as "an attempt to juxtapose a sense of fleetingness with the permanence of analogue recording formats". The overall effect, with the performance stitched together from these rich formats, is absorbing.
