Polykite 'Bones' by Vasily Ovchinnikov
Prolific Russian director Vasily Ovchinnikov's video for Aussie band Polykite explores the love between two young seamstresses in an unspecified past, that begins over the sewing machine and leads to the decidedly sensual use of a tape measure.
The sense of Anäis Nin-style eroticism is undercut by the appearance of these very similar-looking girls again in their old age. A very stylish low budget video - it was filmed in Moscow – that works very nicely with Polykite's dreampop track Bones.
