Lil Buck 'Lil Buck With Icons Of Modern Art' by Andy Margetson
Andy Margetson's short film for Lil Buck isn't a music video so much as a visual portrait set to music.
Shot in the Fondation Louis Vuitton to promote their Schukin exhibition, and featuring delicate piano-led music by Sacha Galperine, the film is an effortless journey through the gallery space following Lil Buck as he dances down corridors and up stairs and between masterpieces. Every movement from both camera and performer is fluid and effortless. It feels natural and spontaneous, despite clearly being meticulously choreographed.
The majority of the film is taken up by a minute and a half unbroken tracking shot following Lil Buck and it's impossible to take your eyes off him.
