Following the first part released before Christmas, Jamie Carter has now delivered the second in a trilogy of videos for British punk outfit Creeper, played alongside their track Black Rain.
Creeper 'Hiding With Boys' by Jamie Carter
Southampton punk band Creeper have released a first in a trilogy of videos for their track Hiding With Boys, a haunting vision directed by Jamie Carter.
Our troubled protagonist is a middle-aged man, haunted by demons visible to him for mere seconds before dissapearing out of sight - but not out of mind. The unnerving sight pushes him to investigate demonic sightings in the local area of Southampton, trying to make sense of what he sees. He collects all the articles and snapshots hoping it might jog his memory or lead to some sort of epiphany – but for now we will have to wait and see...
"Nine months ago, Will and Ian from Creeper came to me with an amazing idea for not only a trilogy of videos, but also a huge teaser campaign to tie the narrative together and create an incredible, immersive experience for the fans. I think the true beauty of what we’ve created is achieved through the vision of our DOP Paul Mackay and the team at Panavision who have enabled us to create an unbelievably filmic look that is soft and pleasing to the eye. Paul Mackay has done an incredible job and without him and Rohan Scully (Producer), none of this would have been possible.
"Being involved in the creation of this project has been an amazing experience – from the planning, storyboarding and prepping, to the crazy 7am finishes on the night shoots in Southampton, the performance shoot happening in record time, to the frantic rush to get this first video across the line in time for it’s launch; it truly has been a rollercoaster of every emotion possible, a true test of character but an absolute pleasure."
