Causes 'Sinking Ship' by David Magnier
David Magnier has directed these dramatic visuals about a love gone awry for four-piece indie pop band Causes' Sinking Ship.
Following a couple through their ups and downs, the relatable tale chronicles moments in a marriage crumbling to beyond the point of repair. Cutting back and forth between blissful summer picnics, their wedding in the woods, and the fighting that ultimately finishes the relationship, the poignant video places the good along with the bad.
And after heightening the stakes, the video ends on a foreshadowing image of the husband letting his wife, still in a wedding dress, fall off a bridge near where they were married.
