Irish director Bob Gallagher, who has helmed a fine series of intense, dramatic videos for Rough Trade noiseniks Girl Band - including the memorable Paul, and the MVA-nominated In Plastic – has now created something rather more lyrical, but just as dramatic for folkie pair Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker.

A woman (played by Olwen Fouere) stands on a deserted, sun-kissed beach and looks out to sea, and occasionally at a fishing boat, lying on the beach. It's shot on Super8mm, which adds to the atmosphere of loss and longing that Gallagher evokes from this simple scenario, when matched to a genuinely beautiful, delicately emotional track.
