Cat Velez - 23rd Sept 2016

Lady Gaga is back, busting out this explosively cathartic pop single about love... that never existed in the first place. Its an electrified performance video - directed by Andrea Gelardin and Ruth Hogben - where Gaga goes for it, rocking out to the track in middle of the hot American desert, surrounded by her audience.

The costumed Gaga spectacle as we knew it previously is gone, replaced instead with an entirely familiar All-American rock n' roll vitality - with an all-star backing band featuring Mark Ronson and Tame Impala's Kevin Parker.

The video may be a back-to-the-roots of her American heritage, but her fierce, brassy and newly-unbridled performance is intact, unhampered by complicated disguises and soaring stilletos.
