David Knight - 18th May 2016

Oh my good lord. James Lawes' presents a scene of domestic normality, in his video for Cat's Eyes' Drag. But as his protagonists are the band's Faris Badwan and Rachel Zeffiri, they are manifestly ill-suited to this scenario. And that expresses itself in extreme, wince-inducing violence.

This is a deadpan comedy with a very dark edge indeed - and it doesn't let up. Not for the squeamish, but awfully entertaining. And Badwan and Zeffira are bloody great.
