The British-born, LA-based producer Gabriels has recently released this powerful self-directed video for his track Amethyst: a grainy, monochromatic glimpse into a young man's self-destructive life.

Shot by DoP Ben Fordesman on 16mm film, its a grim tale of heroin addiction in an English town. A trip to a dealer followed by the hit and oblivion, and culminating in a nightmarish, hallucinogenic expression of the single-minded grip of the drug.
