Brighton rapper Ocean Wisdom plays a real version of Snakes and Ladders as he navigates the dark streets of London in this music video for his track Snakes & Blaggers, directed by Lucie Beecham.
Teaming up with animator Craig Dolan, the video has superimposed 2D animations hand drawn onto live action footage. Beecham explains, "I felt using the hand drawn elements alongside the gritty black and white live action was the best way to blend Ocean’s grime style with a game that provokes childhood nostalgia."
