Lyon-based musician and videomaker Hiérophante nails the bland, homogenising nature of taking pictures on your phone and sticking it up on Instagram, or whereever, in the impressive Clichés. 

"I took advantage of our tendency to be unoriginal on social media to make this animation. Everything from images search to editing is made "by hand" without any automated software," Hiérophante writes, on his Vimeo post.  "Some people point out to me that some similar videos already exists so it seems that making a video about clichés is a cliché too..."

Let's hope it goes viral.
