Kwamie Liv 'Higher' by Marion Dupas
Marion Dupas's video for Higher by Danish-Zambian artist Kwamie Liv showcases the various stages of a turbulent relationship in a bunk bed building.
It's similar in its continuous vertical ascending movement to Dupas's previous video for Chateau Marmont's Everybody Is Somebody, but differs in every other way, starting with it's unique live-action narrative form.
With the camera ascending up a neverending bed frame, it allows the viewer to witness each stage of a relationship as it unfolds as if on a continuous loop, from the passionate beginnings right up until the heartbreaking end.
