Tokio Hotel 'Feel It All' by Mattias Erik Johansson
Cat Velez - 1st Apr 2015
In October last year, after a five year hiatus, German pop-rock band Tokio Hotel came out with their fifth studio album Kings of Suburbia, whose tracks have been paired with some fresh videos to express their change in sound. Last year, innovative Australian director Kris Moyes had a crack at one with the zany and rather unhinged Girl Got A Gun.
Now, Mattias Erik Johansson has directed this dramatic video of youth in the grips of drug abuse. Adding to the believability, the video was shot in a documentary style, with singer Bill Kaulitz depicted as a downtrodden young man, caught in a whirlwind of parties, sex and heroin. Ultimately selling himself in order to get his fix, this is decidedly a drug-drenched video with a serious anti-drug message.
