All We Are 'Utmost Good' by James Beale
Liverpool trio All We Are's previous, feelgood clip for the track Utmost Good had their friends, family and local artists singing their lyrics for the camera. Now, the song has been paired with this new video by James Beale, which uses bits of the old clip pieced together with new performance shots of the band, projected onto a stack of television sets inside of a CCTV monitoring room.
Playing on the same hazy, sedated themes of the previous clip, this latest video sees everything doubled up, making the whole greater than the sum of its parts. The innovative way the clip repurposes the old with the new -as well as its perfectly mellow pacing- goes further in enhancing the song's tripped-out glow.
