Lower Than Atlantis 'English Kids In America' by Daniel Broadley

Luke Tierney - 21st Aug 2014

The song's called English Kids In America, and Lower Than Atlantis play the role to a tee in Daniel Broadley's video.

Daniel and producer Nathan Killham took the band on a whirlwind trip to the States, capturing their chemistry and boundless energy, and also taking in a few attractions (like Jurassic Park). The boys also shoot themselves – possibly inventing the 'velfie' in the process – and are clearly having a right laugh...

DANIEL BROADLEY:

"English Kids In America does exactly what it says on the tin. It shows four lads swanning off to America with their label's money and having a great time. I wanted to capture the raw energy the guys had when they were around each other, something which often gets lost when over conceptualising music promos.

"The video was shot over a period of five days with a two-man crew (myself and producer Nathan Killham) on a manic schedule. I feel like we somehow managed to cram two weeks into those five days."
