Jamie Childs's powerful video for Hot Since 82's The End is based around an experimental mood film about J. Robert Oppenheimer, the "father of the atomic bomb".

The first atomic bomb was detonated on July 16, 1945, in the Trinity test in New Mexico; Oppenheimer remarked later that it brought to mind words from the Bhagavad Gita: "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." Here we see the intriguing journey of an unknown character in the desert in search for a mysterious object that is thrown to earth from the stratosphere.
