At first it looks like an unlikely combination. But having Jake Nava directing the Arctic Monkeys new video for Arabella turns out to be a triumph.

There's the sheer sexiness of it, which you what you'd expect from Jake - the retro-styled saucy motel room party, the performance, the fact Alex Turner never looked so good. And then there's the cleverness, the film that rewinds and spools on and still somehow stays in sync. A very cool video indeed.
