Indiana 'Solo Dancing' by Rob&Rob
David Knight - 26th Feb 2014
New British artist known as Indiana is likely to make a sizeable splash with her cool debut single and euphemistically-titled Solo Dancing. And so is Rob&Rob's video, which has a lot of fun with the song's theme.
And what's so good about it is that nothing is too overt. So the spinning top, the pushing the toaster lever, the silver-polishing, the juice being squeezed from the lemon, and the clown-punching.... its all metaphorical of course.
And some of the symbolism is really quite obscure. Shouting at gherkins? Teaching dogs maths..? But once you get it, this is a sexy video. And doesn't hurt that Indiana is a very alluring presence too.
