Alexis Beaumont & Rémi Godin, directors of the excellent animated video for Stuck In The Sound's Let's Go, featuring an astronaut confronted with the destruction of Earth and his past regrets, have now created another compelling 2D animation for Concorde's Sons which expands on similar ideas of flashback memories and regret.

In this case, a body-beautiful, mostly naked young woman receiving a social network friend request is the jumping off point for her to recall painful memories as an overweight, self-loathing schoolgirl. From then on, the two narratives, past and present, run side-by-side through the video, weaving a tale of destructive narcissism – with a visual look inspired by the naïve illustration style of Jonny Négron.
