The latest Pixies release Magdelena is accompanied by a weird and wonderful video by Judy Jacob, who is best known for designing stage visuals for the tours and TV appearances of artists including Queens of the Stone Age, Stone Roses - and the Pixies.

It was from her preference to shoot visuals and textures through a lens rather than digitally which led her to collaborate with London performance artists - including Nando Messias, who plays the titular lead character in the Magdelena video, experiencing visceral encounters in the underpasses and tunnels of London, and some other surreal sensory pleasures... 

Judy says: "Magdalena runs late for a job interview with Jesus, knowing seven devils must be dealt with before she arrives…"
