Stylist and fashion mag editor Alister Mackie makes his directing debut for old pal Bobby Gillespie's band Primal Scream, for new single Goodbye Johnny, which channels the mood of Warhol's Factory with a bunch of young Gillespie wannabes, a couple of drag queens and some fantastic shirts.

The video was shot on iPhone in the The Backstreet club in Mile End, London’s original gay S&M club. Dazed Digital talked to Alister about making the video (and coming up with the idea while watching the Stones at Glastonbury with Bobby) as part of their exclusive presentation of the vid.
